Drs. Villiers (PI) and Uduebor (Co-PI) have received confirmation for the NSTI Summer Transportation Grant awarded by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), amounting to $30,000 pending a final decision.

The summer camp will run from July 8 – 19, 2024 on the FGCU campus, with a focus on creating awareness and simulating interest in middle and high school participants to take advantage of career opportunities that exist in the transportation industry. It will also provide acadic enhancement activities and encourage students to pursue transportation-related course work at the college and university level.
